Keerthy Suresh

Keerthy Suresh (born 17 October 1992) is an Indian actress who appears predominantly in Tamil and Telugu films, in addition to some Malayalam films. She was awarded the National Film Award for Best Actress for portraying the role of actress Savitri for Mahanati, a Telugu film Mahanati (2018). In addition, she has received three SIIMA Awards and a Filmfare Award South. Keerthy Kumar Suresh is the actor Menaka G. Suresh's daughter. She began her career as a child actress in the early 2000s and returned to films after studying fashion design. Her first leading role was in 2013's Malayalam film Geethaanjali. She went on to star in successful films such as Ring Master (2014), Rajinimurugan (2016), Remo (2016), Bairavaa (2017), Nenu Local (2017), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Mahanati (2018), Sarkar (2018), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Penguin (2020), Miss India (2021), Good Luck Sakhi (2022) and Sarkaru Vaari Paata (2022). The first film she acted in outside Malayalam was Idhu Enna Maayam (2015), opposite Vikram Prabhu. It was not a success in the theater. The director is A. L. Vijay together and Vikram the director, that released Idhu Enna Maayam in 2015. The film didn't fare very well, but it did release. To accommodate larger projects due to her hectic schedule, she had opted out of some films, that she began to work on. It included Krishna's Maane Thaene Paeye (a romance) and Deekay's Kavalaivendam. For a short period of time she also worked with Sivakarthikeyan on Rajini Murugan, Remo and she also acted as the lead in Prabhu Sool's Thodari alongside Dhanush. The film that she played in was her Telugu debut had been scheduled in the form of Ainaa Ishtam nuvvu. Although the release date of Janakitho Nuvvu hasn't been announced, it is reported that the film could be released later in the month of September, 2020. The film's debut was Nenu Sailaja in the year 2016 starring actress Ram Pothineni. Keerthy starred in Bairavaa directed by Bharathan and starring actor Vijay.
